Naples welcomes the world with an opening ceremony transformed into a spectacular narrative of light, music, sport and entertainment.

Inside the San Paolo Stadium, scenic design, visual effects and multimedia content accompany the entrance of more than 6,000 athletes from over 100 countries. The defining symbol of the evening is a large “U” at the heart of the stage, conceived as the city’s embrace of all the participants.

An international-scale production that celebrates Naples through music, culture and imagery, officially marking the beginning of the 30th Summer Universiade.
