Luminara
ITALY - Pisa
In the city of Pisa, an already extraordinary city famous all over the world for its beauties, on June 16th of each year something even more special happens. On the windows of the houses overlooking the riverside of the city, small wax candles are lit and placed with care in smooth glass glasses and hung inside white wooden frames. Seventy thousand small lights shine all together, illuminating the passage of the Arno and creating a highly suggestive and breathtaking view.
It is within this incredible setting that Parente Fireworks brings the event to its climax; thanks to the pyrotechnic masters, the Arno river comes to life and plays with the buildings facades, creating an interweaving of lights, colors and emotions. Sixteen floating platforms placed on the river for over a kilometer in length, from which fireworks are shot into the sky, combining the colorful and vivid reflections of the water with the starry vault.
To give the final touch to an already extraordinary wonder, the largest fireworks are launched from the old citadel to reach the highest peaks in the sky. An event of great tourist-cultural impact, which must be associated with technical mastery, knowledge of safety (the fireworks on the Arno are selected according to special features, in order to meet the most stringent safety & security parameters) and the ability to design an unforgettable show for residents and visitors.
